We saw a map like this in Primary school. I found it interesting to note how much larger the land for a certain group of people is the more inland you go, generally. Like, you can see how fertile Australia is with this map. Not necessarily agriculturally fertile, but how much more certain tracts of land can support and how desolate it can be in the red centre. Seriously, those areas are huge. The Mardu, Warlpiri, and Wiradjuri nations are comparable in size to, for example, Germany. Not bigger than, but comparable.
