1. Pretend you’ve never met, then loudly try out lame pickup lines in a swanky bar. Act like they worked.
2. Go on a walking journey and every fifteen feet draw a chalk arrow in the direction you’re going. At the end of the trip, leave a big pile of chalk.
3. Create photo evidence suggesting that you went on an adventure that didn’t really happen
4. Go for a drive. You can only make right-hand turns. When you finally get stuck, turn around and then you can only make left-hand turns. Repeat until you find something interesting. Take pictures along the way!
5. Build forts out of furniture and blankets, and wage war with paper airplanes.
6. Go to a major chain bookstore, and leave notes to future readers in copies of your favorite books
7. Write a piece of fiction together. Outside at a cafe. Ask strangers when you get stuck.
8. Try and visit as many people as you can in one night, and turn as many things inside their apartment upside down as you can, without them noticing.
9. Do the lamest tourist thing in your area that you have both secretly wanted to do forever. Have an unabashed good time!

11. Go around the city with sidewalk chalk and draw hearts with equations inside on random things
12. Drive somewhere unknown and have dinner in a city you’ve never been to. With fake names.

17. Dress up as pirates and go parrot shopping at local pet stores
18. Go to the airport, get the cheapest, soonest departing flight to anywhere when you show up, and stay there for a weekend.
19. Walk around a city and perform short silent plays in front of security cameras
20. In the middle of the night, drive to the beach, so you arrive just as the sun is rising. Have a breakfast picnic, then fall asleep together. Bring a sun umbrella.
21. Dress up as superheros and stop at least one petty crime “ie. jaywalking, littering….”
22. Go to a minor league baseball game under the stars. Tell each other stories about how bad you are at athletics. Randomly cheer for both teams. Eat lots of Cracker Jack.
23. With camera and pair of boots, make photolog of a day in the life of the invisible man.
24. Walk around the city all night and find a place to eat breakfast at dawn
25. Go to a restaurant and convince the cook to create something completely new for you.

Okay, um how do you guys feel about doing a lit study day on Saturday at Murdoch Uni Library? I’m thinking we could meet at Maccas at 8:30/9:00 and then bus it there and just sit at a table, do past papers, ask each other questions and stuff.

So, can anybody come?

tbh and dnt mean to be offensive and everything but isnt that abit over the top like i get the subject’s important to you n u wana study and everything but getting together at another place on the weekend just so ur not studying alone is abit excessive dont u think, jst study by urself its not that hard n lits just one subject yeah its sorta hard but u guys dnt do this for all ur other subjects do u? if so ur a study nazi, spread ur studying out dnt jst focus on the one and personally i think the whole idea of getting everyone together and going to a uni on he weekend right in the middle of exams to study only one exam that none of us are going to fail anyways is unnecessary and a waste of time i have other subjects to study and i rather do well in all my subjects then great in one and shit in the rest bcoz i focused to much on one subject sorry guys nothing personal aye i jst seriously dnt see the point.

Well, um, you could have just said no.

And also, I *do* do this for all my other subjects. And hell Emma, I’m not the only one. I know over 6 people who regularly go to libraries to study. If trying and utilizing my time to make sure I get the most productivity out of it makes me, as you say, a “study nazi” the hell I’m a study nazi. Though in reality I’m not sure how that works, considering calling someone a nazi implies that I somehow force people to study or have an undying hatred of Jews, none of which I do.

In addition, studies have shown that having a ‘study buddy’ or working in a group thats motivated towards the same ideals as you is highly helpful in learning the content and cementing concepts.

And yes, while spreading your study out over a period of time is a good idea, I know a lot of people, me included, who find that focusing on one or two subjects a day is more helpful in retaining the information. Forgive me for thinking that going straight from Lit to maths isn’t exactly helpful.

And hell, whilst you might want to do average in all your exams, I want to do *well* in all my exams. Because, guess what, I’ve put this amount of study into all my TER subjects. I’m not saying you should do the same, but I’d appreciate it if you didn’t call me a nazi for wanting to do well.
